for my little man.....

who is now FOUR!!

Oh little man
You've changed my life
I ache each time you smile
You bring such joy
My baby boy
Make everything worthwhile

And even though
You're still so small
You radiate such light
Those eyes of blue
Love shining through
For me
A wondrous sight

Each day you change
In some small way
I dare not miss a thing
Ten tiny toes
Cute button nose
A laugh to make me sing

I touch your skin
So soft and pure
You lie inside my arms
To keep you here
Away from fear
I can't resist your charms

Your cheeky grin
Can make me smile
It has the power to heal
Your laugh, so pure
I do adore
Your mischief I can feel

I stand in awe
My gorgeous boy
My little man, my son
Sent from above
With so much love
My sunshine, you're the one

Love you, my sunshine xxxx

  5. Sweet! I'm sure you little man will appreciate it someday when he has a little one of his own.

I'm a crusader wandering through. I'm following you now.

  6. You're making me cry! OH, I can feel the love you have for him! This poem SO easily applies to every one of my kids. I still feel that bursting love for my 14 year old girl. I love to snuggle with her and love her. Same with my other 3. *Sigh*

It's truly love Heavenly Father has for us when he gave us the privilege to raise kids, isn't it?

    Happy 4 little guy! <3 <3 <3 <3

  10. Sarah- So beautiful. Smiled my way through it. I feel the same way about "my little man" (which is exactly what I call him even though he is now 13 and taller than me). That awe, that joy and love, and those charms of his you can't resist--never changes. ;)
